Hannah Hancock

This project ended up being more difficult than I had previously thought it would be. I was able to meet and work with some amazing people who were very different from myself. I learned a lot about diversity and how important it is in our world. Everyone around us has different experiences and struggle with different things and this project helped me see and understand that. One of the most important things that I was able to take away from this project was an improved set of leadership skills. I learned to lead those on my floor and those that I worked with. This project required a lot more initiative than anticipated which was something that I struggled with before. It also strengthened my ability to take criticism and apply to better myself instead of letting it upset me and make me defensive. Another thing that became apparent soon after starting this project was the fact that not everyone is going to like me or agree with me on everything, but it is still important to work with and get along with people like this.
